New Assignment
After three decades in marketing and public relations, I feel called to vocational ministry. Lori and I have helped launch Garden Fellowship Church, where I serve as Teaching Elder (what most people would call “pastor”).
Our church name derives from the priorities God has placed on our hearts:
Garden
God’s original design for mankind has not changed since the days of Eden. We believe he is calling us “back to the garden.” This means relying on and keeping His Word, not adding to it nor taking from it. This also means being in intimacy with the Father and living surrendered to Jesus.
Fellowship
We believe fellowship to be an essential component of a healthy church; God calls us to do life together. To that end, we have a meal before every service. We are a church that is heavily invested in the welfare of each member.
Church
We are a Christian church, part of the Body of Christ. As such, we proclaim the Gospel, love God and love others. We are committed to discipleship, with each member encouraged to become more mature in faith and in obedience to Christ.
